ggcov requires the following, which should be available on any modern Linux distro or commercial Unix:

• libglade library with GNOME support
• GNOME libgnomeui library
• GNOME gtk+ library
• Optionally, the popt library
• GNU libbfd from the binutils package

ggcov uses GTK 2.x but will fall back to using GTK 1.2 for older platforms. A configure-time option can be used to disable the GUI entirely and only build the text mode program, which requires only glib and libbfd.

The ggcov-web package doesn't require GNOME but does require the following:

• Apache 2.0 or 1.3 (tested on 2.0.52)
• PHP 4.3 or 5.x (tested on 4.3.9)
• the dba PHP extension with the db4 provider (this is built into most PHP packages)
• the gd PHP extension
